Principal and Chief Academic Officer, Diane Allerdyce Ph.D. (photo center-left) of Toussaint L'Ouverture High School for Arts and Social Justice (TLHS), participated in the groundbreaking of the long-awaited covered arena to be built at the Horses and The Handicapped of South Florida, Inc. (H & H) on 16th February 2008, in the Tradewinds Park North, Coconut Creek, FL. TLHS leaders look forward to an upcoming field trip to the H & H site. It has been the longtime dream of Dr. Allerdyce to have her students assist various organisations to enhance their own learning while helping the community at the same time. This culminates another dream of one of H & H's original fouding memebers, the late Victor C. "Skip" Richard (Dr. Allerdyce's father). Mr. Richard helped TLHS in its infancy and continues to inspire its mission.
